Born from a Shared Conviction
Lokaa began with a simple observation: quality Carnatic music education was scattered, intimidating for beginners, and rarely available in a structured, accessible format. Finding the right content, the right curriculum, and the right community was harder than it needed to be.
Anahita and Apoorva — both trained Carnatic musicians — decided to change that. They built Lokaa not as a business first, but as a self-led courses platform that genuinely serves the student's journey. Every playlist, every video, every teaching decision was shaped by one question: what does the learner actually need?
Today, Lokaa is home to hundreds of subscribers across India and beyond — beginners who never thought they could learn Carnatic music, and returning learners who found in Lokaa the structure and warmth they had been searching for.
